Officer One is made by bigBespoke LLC, a private company. It is not a government app, and it is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by any government entity, court, or law enforcement agency. Every statute, rule, and case text in the app is published by the government body named below, and every citation in the app opens the official page it names.

The shelf covers 39 states and the District of Columbia, each read from that legislature’s own publication. New states land regularly; this page is generated from the same list the app ships, so it is never out of step with what is on your phone.

How the app uses them

Statutes are downloaded from these publications and stored on the phone so they open in a dead zone. Each section keeps its citation and its link home. Officer One does not rewrite, summarize away, or paraphrase the text of a statute — the words on the screen are the words the legislature published, and the link on the card opens that publication.
